After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if
anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
Youth Fellowship will meet in the Church Hall from 7.15 to 8.30 pm tonight.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Church Magazine – Christmas Edition

Church Magazine : Anyone who would prefer to receive their copy of the Church Magazine electronically rather than having it delivered should enter their details on the sheet to be found in the Front Vestibule.
Retiral Offering : A Retiral Offering will be taken at both services
today. This collection will go towards the costs of major projects in our church buildings.
Church / Church Hall Cleaning Rotas 2014 : Volunteers are sought to
fill the few vacant slots in the above rotas. This would only involve a
total of 4 – 6 hours per YEAR Anyone willing to assist with this should contact Ann MacLeod (611 271)
Door Duty / Readers : Door Duty volunteers are sought to give a welcome greeting to people as they come into the church and to take up the offerings. Readers would read the lessons during services. If you would be willing to help with either or both of these duties please see Donna McEwan or Bill Marshall.
Ladies’ Bible Study Christmas Lunch : The Ladies’ Bible Study group is once more planning a Christmas Lunch to which all ladies of the congregation are invited. The lunch will be held in Marmalade at Portree House at 12.30pm on Saturday 30 November. The cost will be £15.50 per person. All ladies interested should collect an information sheet from the Front Vestibule and return the tear-off section by today.
Pulpit Exchange – Sunday 1 December : : In his role as Interim Moderator for Kilmuir & Stenscholl Parish, Sandor will be celebrating the Sacrament of Communion in Staffin Church on the morning of 1 December. In his place, Rev. John Murray will lead worship at our 11.00 am service and this will be followed at 12.30 pm by a Gaelic Service.
This service is open to all, from any church, who would wish to attend. Please inform anyone you know who might be interested in attending.
Skye and Lochalsh Faiths Together group will mark Scottish Inter Faith Week with a celebration of the “One-ness” of all humanity and of the “essence” of the different religious traditions. Please join us on Saturday 30 November, 10.30 am to 1 pm, at St Columba’s Episcopal Church, Portree. Tea and coffee provided. For further details contact Jim Towers, Tel 01478 640477.
Date for the Diary : Morning worship on Sunday 15 December will be a Family Service involving an input from our youngest members. Following the service members of the congregation are invited to a Christmas Soup & Mince Pies organised by the Sunday School. Sunday School teachers have already written to Santa to see if he could possibly manage to visit the Hall at that time.
