INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
At a joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Life and Work – General Assembly Supplement :
Life and Work has, once more, produced a supplement giving details of the main topics debated during the week of the Assembly.
Copies of this supplement are available in the Front Vestibule.
Special Meetings of the Congregational Board and Kirk Session :
A special meeting of the Congregational Board will be held in the Church at 7.00 pm on Thursday 20 June. This meeting is to discuss the AV Committee’s recommendation regarding the quotes for the provision and installation of large screens and ancillary equipment in the Church and Church Hall.
A short meeting of Kirk Session will be held at the end of this meeting.
