After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).

If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Minister’s Annual Leave : Sandor will be on annual leave until Saturday 19 October.  Members of Kirk Session will lead worship on the 3 Sundays during this period.  Colin Reeve will lead worship at both services today.

Sandor will not be travelling abroad and will liaise with the undertakers in order that he will be available to conduct any funeral services during this period or for any urgent pastoral matters.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Sunday School  : The group meets every Sunday during the school term.   Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.   All are welcome to attend.

Life and Work 2020 :  Existing subscribers to the Church of Scotland’s own magazine are asked to confirm with Morna MacLaren whether they wish to continue with their subscription next year.

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 17 November.

Harvest Thanksgiving:  Kirk Session has agreed that the Harvest Thanksgiving Service will take place today.

Release International has been identified as the organisation to receive our donations this year.  This organisation has been involved in distributing Bibles to Christians in North Korea and helping persecuted Christian groups throughout the world.

Retiral Collection for September : Kirk Session also agreed that the September retiring collection and any white envelopes received during September or on Sunday 6 October can, if wished, be directed to Release International.

If you wish your white envelope to go to Release International, please print RELEASE on the front.  If you wish the money to go to the church, please print CHURCH.

These items will be donated to the Food Bank

Please remember that there is a box in the Front Vestibule into which donations of groceries can be made throughout the year.  These are delivered to the Food Bank on a regular basis.
