Blythswood Care’s Thanksgiving Service for its 50th Anniversary

You are invited to celebrate Blythswood Care’s 50th Anniversary at a service of praise and thanksgiving at Portree Church of Scotland, Somerled Square on Tuesday 30 August at 7.30 pm

This invitation has been sent out to all churches in the Portree area.  All welcome.    If you wish to attend this event please add your name to the list which can be found in the vestibule.

Tea and coffee will be served in the Church Hall after the service.  Offers of baking, help with setting up the hall beforehand and clearing up afterwards will be gratefully received.

Summer Magazine :  This edition is ready for distribution.  Folders available in the Front Vestibule.  Thanks go to Trevor Dee for the production of the magazine.

An Ecumenical Prayer Meeting will be held in the Church Hall at 7.30 pm on Monday 22 August.  All are welcome to attend.

Holidays : The school holiday period is over and some members of the congregation may only now be visiting different parts of the country.   If anyone visits a church elsewhere and finds that, like Portree Parish Church, spare copies of a magazine are available to visitors then the Magazine Committee would be extremely grateful to receive a copy.   These can provide ideas for future articles in our own magazine

Any magazines obtained can be placed in the Magazine Folder in the Front Vestibule.

A meeting of Kirk Session will follow after this joint meeting.
