SKYE TENT IMSSION INFORMATION MEETING

We have been asked by John Caldwell to share the following  information with you

Dear all,

Over the last few months, the members of Skye Gideons felt led of the Lord to approach Faith Mission about hosting a Tent Mission on Skye in Spring 2016. We are encouraged to say that FM has agreed, and that we have been granted the use of the Old Pool ground in Portree.

I’m writing to invite you all, and your congregations, to attend a Tent Mission Information Meeting on the Mon 11th April in the Old library building (YMCA) in Bayfield Lane at 7.30.

It would be really great to see as many leaders, and Christians from as many churches as possible at the event. The meeting will be an opportunity to hear about the proposed dates and activities that are being planned, and also how we can all get involved.

We believe this is a great opportunity to demonstrate gospel-centred unity and to engage in local mission. We are hoping that great things will flow from this mission, not least that we will see a harvest of souls.

If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to contact Donnie Macleod at Faith Mission at: donnie.macleod@faithmission.org.

Please pray for this meeting, and the proposed tent mission. We know that this proposal has three elements that the enemy hates: prayer, unity and mission. Let’s trust that by God’s grace we will see new ground broken for the glory of God and the cause of the gospel on Skye.

I’ve attempted to gather as many contacts from as many churches as possible. However, if I have missed any churches, or leaders out, please spread the word – the meeting is open to everyone.

I hope to see you, and the congregations you represent on the 11th April.

“With God everything is possible.” Matt 19:26

Yours in Christ,

John
