Intimations – Sunday 13 March 2016

Easter

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School & Youth Fellowship  meet every Sunday during the school term, initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group  meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening   All are welcome to attend.

 

Pattern of Services for Easter :

Sunday 20 March  –  Palm Sunday.

Morning worship at 11.00 am will be a family service with the younger members of the congregation remaining in church for the full service.  This will be the final service before the Easter holiday break for Sunday School and Youth Fellowship.  Classes resume on Sunday 17 April.

Evening worship at 6.00 pm will follow the normal pattern

 

Sunday 27 March – Easter Sunday  

A Sunrise Service will be held on the Lump at 7.04 am.

Morning Worship at 11.00 am will incorporate the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper

Evening worship at 6.00 pm will follow the normal pattern

 

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on 27 March.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Church Magazine :  The Easter edition of our Church Magazine is now ready for distribution.  Distributers may collect their folders from the Front Vestibule.

We are greatly indebted to those who contributed items for the magazine and to Trevor Dee for its production.

Church Accounts :  Copies of the Church Accounts for 2015 are available in the Front Vestibule.

Church AGM :  Advance notice is given that the AGM of the church will be held in the Church Hall at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 22 March 2016.

Please support this important meeting which will give you an opportunity to hear of all the positive work which has taken place in the last year.

 

Tea & Coffee will be served at the end of this meeting and will give a further opportunity for fellowship with others in attendance.
