Intimations – Sunday 7 February 2016

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School & Youth Fellowship  meet every Sunday during the school term, initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

As next weekend is a school mid-term holiday, Sunday School & YF will next meet on Sunday 21 February.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group  meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening   All are welcome to attend.

Church Magazine :  The next edition of our magazine is due to be issued for Easter which is very early this year, falling on Sunday 27 March.

We need articles about your memories of Easter in your past, your thoughts on how it is celebrated today, your favourite hymns, poems, humorous stories, etc.

Please submit your items as soon as possible to enable an early start to be made on this edition.  Items may be left in the folder in the Front Vestibule or, preferably, emailed to Trevor Dee at trevordee@btinternet.com

The closing date for the submission of items is Sunday 28 February.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on 27 March.

Conference for those working with Children & Young People : Church of Scotland Community of Faith Conferences will be running in Glasgow, Dumfries and Inverness with the 2016 theme being “for churches with few or no children”.  Each conference will begin with a keynote address then some workshops and then time for people to share what is going on in their own situations. Lunch will be provided.

Dates for the conferences are :- Glasgow –  Saturday 13 February ; Dumfries – Saturday 12 March and Inverness – Saturday 23 April Booking for event can be done at www.resourcingmission.org.uk/events

Women Across the Highlands one Day Conference :  This conference will be held at Smithton-Culloden Church Inverness on Saturday 21 May. The Guest Speaker will be Heidi Johnston and the conference is entitled Outrageous Grace Contagious Faith.  Further information and booking forma are available from the Front Vestibule.  Early booking is advisable.
