New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 15 November.

Gaelic Service : A Gaelic service will be held in the Church of Scotland, Staffin at 6pm on Sunday 25th October.

Conversations in Worship : Over the last few months the Mission and Discipleship Council of the Church of Scotland has been reflecting on how it can most helpfully resource the Church in worship. From consultation with people representing a wide range of views, it has emerged that a positive first step would be to encourage congregations to make space to talk about worship. The focus of this will be conversations about how people have encountered God in worship.

A discussion on this topic, led by Dan Carmichael of Mission & Discipleship, will be held in Kilmuir church hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 28th October.

Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal : Shoe Box Appeal forms are available in the Front Vestibule. Boxes should be handed in to the Blythswood shop on the pier by Friday 27 November at the latest.
