After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening All are welcome to attend.
Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal : Shoe Box Appeal forms are available in the Front Vestibule. Boxes should be handed in to the Blythswood shop on the pier by Friday 14 November.
Congregational Board : A meeting of the Congregational Board will be held in the Manse at 7.30 pm on Thursday 13 November.
Preparatory Service : A Preparatory Service will be held in the Church at 7.30 pm on Friday 14 November
Communion : Communion will be served at both services on Sunday 16 November.
Kirk Session : The rescheduled meeting of the Kirk Session will take place in the Manse at 7.30 pm on Thursday 20 November.
Church Magazine : Please submit your items as soon as possible and by Sunday 23 November at the latest. Items may be left in the folder in the Vestibule or, preferably, emailed to me on wwm74marl@hotmail.com
Church & Society Newsletter : Copies of the latest newsletter are available in the Front Vestibule.
Ladies’ Bible Study Christmas Lunch : The Ladies’ Bible Study group is once more planning a Christmas Lunch to which all ladies of the congregation are invited. The lunch will be held in Marmalade on Saturday 6 December. . All ladies interested can collect a form from the Front Vestibule next Sunday
Sunday School Christmas cards / Calendars : Due to the limited number of Sundays before schools close for the Christmas holiday period Sunday School regrets that they will be unable to produce cards or calendars this year
Door Duty / Readers : Door Duty volunteers are sought to give a welcome greeting to people as they come into the church and to take up the offerings. Readers would read the lessons during services. If you would be willing to help with either or both of these duties please see Donna McEwan or Bill Marshall.
Church / Church Hall Cleaning Rotas 2015 : Volunteers are sought to
fill the few vacant slots in the above rotas. This would only involve a
total of 4 – 6 hours per YEAR Anyone willing to assist with this should contact Ann MacLeod (611 271)
New Communicant Members : Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 16 November.
