Harvest Thanksgiving Sunday : Our annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service takes place this morning. It has been agreed that all donations made should be directed towards those in need in Portree and other areas of Skye.

Helping Hands has been identified as the most appropriate organisation to receive our donations and they will liaise with various other agencies (Social Services, CAB etc) to ensure that help is directed to where it is most needed. Cash donations would be the most acceptable form of donation as this allows Helping Hands to make bulk purchases at more competitive prices.

Kirk Session also agreed that the September retiring collection and any white envelopes received during September will be directed to Helping Hands.

These donations will be collected at both services today.

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Crèche:  There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School and Youth Fellowship close today for the October holiday period. They will both resume on Sunday 02 November.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Church Hall each Tuesday evening during the month of September. From 07 October it reverts to its normal 7.00 start time.   All are welcome to attend.

Retiring Collection : The Retiring collection in aid of Helping Hands will be taken at both services today.

Church and Church Hall Cleaning Rotas : A small number of spaces on these rotas have become vacant. If you could help with this important matter please contact Ann MacLeod.

A Food Bank is not just for Harvest Thanksgiving : Please remember that the needs of the less fortunate exist all year round.
