After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

 

Harvest Thanksgiving :  During each service today the normal collection of Offerings will be taken for the work of the Church in Portree and further afield.   At the end of each service members of the congregation will have the opportunity to make a “Harvest” donation which will be given to “Helping Hands” who will use this to purchase foodstuffs for distribution to those in need in Portree and other areas of Skye.

All White Envelopes received today will go towards the Harvest collection.

 

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if

anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

 

Sunday School & Youth Fellowship  close today for the October holiday period.   Classes will meet again on Sunday 27 October after school resumes.

 

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

 

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm on Tuesday evenings.   All are welcome to attend.

 

Coffee Morning :  The October Coffee Morning will be held in the Church Hall from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon on Thursday 3 October.  Please support this initiative which is organised to raise money for church funds.

 

2014 Calendars – Advance Notice :  The Sunday School would wish you to know that this year they are intending to produce a 2014 Calendar which will be on sale to the congregation in due course.   The calendar will feature new designs and will be of the same high quality as the cards produced in previous years.

 

Church Magazine :   The Autumn edition of the Church Magazine is now being printed and distributors should be able to collect the copies for their areas next Sunday.
