Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
Youth Fellowship will meet in the Church Hall from 7.15 to 8.30 pm tonight.
Vestry Hour : The Minister now holds a regular Vestry Hour when he is available to discuss any matters that members of the congregation might wish to raise with him. These meetings are held in the Vestry each Tuesday evening from 5.45 to 6.45 pm.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group resumes on Tuesday 27 August. The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship group will meet in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm this coming Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Congregational Board : A meeting of the Congregational Board will be held in the Manse at 7.30 pm on Thursday 5 September.
Coffee Mornings : Coffee Mornings, in aid of church funds are held in the Church each Thursday from 10.30 – 12.00 Please come and support this fund raising initiative.
Church Magazine – Summer Edition
The deadline for receipt of articles is Monday 2 September.
Crèche : Any member of the congregation who would, when necessary, be prepared to provide cover in the Crèche is asked to give their name to Bill Marshall.
Iona 2014 : Rev. David Kellas, Glenelg, is in the process of arranging for a group of 15 people from Churches within our Presbytery to take part in an Open Week in the Abbey on Iona in 2014. Full details of likely dates and costs are given in the notice which has been posted in the Front Vestibule.
David Kellas has indicated that anyone interested in this event must contact him by Saturday 7 September at the latest.
Children’s Hospice Association Scotland – Ceilidh with CHAS
Maria McGill, Chief Executive of CHAS will be giving a talk about the work of CHAS in The Aros Centre from 2.00 – 4.00 pm on Thursday 12 September. Further details are in the poster and leaflets which may be found in the Front Vestibule.

Moderator’s Visit : The Moderator has, by means of personal comments and by tweets on her Twitter account expressed her great pleasure at the warmth of the welcome extended to her last week and for the hospitality provided at the Soup & Pudding Lunchafter the morning service.
Soup & Pudding : Fiona would like to thank all who contributed to the success of this event by providing soup, puddings, baking or cash donations. She would wish to give special thanks to the hard working team who laboured in the kitchen, served tables and washed up.
