After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Vestry Hour : The Minister now holds a regular Vestry Hour when he is available to discuss any matters that members of the congregation might wish to raise with him. These meetings are held in the Vestry each Tuesday evening from 5.45 to 6.45 pm.
Sunday School & Youth Fellowship resume next Sunday following the school Summer holiday period.
Visit of the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland
The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Right Rev. Lorna Hood, will preach at the Morning Service on
Sunday 25 August
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group resumes on Tuesday 27 August. The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship group will meet in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm this coming Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Coffee Mornings : Coffee Mornings, in aid of church funds are held in the Church each Thursday from 10.30 – 12.00 Please come and support this fund raising initiative.
Kirk Session : A meeting of the Kirk Session will be held in the Manse at 7.30 pm on Thursday 29 August. Minutes and Agenda will be available next Sunday.

Fiona and Susan would be grateful if those who have already offered or who would wish to offer to assist in any way with this event (setting up, preparing dishes, serving on the day) would wait behind for a few minutes after morning worship today.
Church Magazine – Summer Edition
Preparations for the Summer edition of the Church Magazine are starting.
A folder has been placed in the Front Vestibule of the church and anyone who has an item (poem, article, prayer etc.) that they wish to
be considered for inclusion in the Spring or other editions of the magazine is asked to place it in the folder. . Items may also be sent directly to the editors, Jenni & Patrick Jones, at jennipatrick@btinternet.com
This is the magazine of your church. It is also circulated to many people who either never or very seldom come to worship with us. By submitting your own articles these people will see that we have an active congregation which might encourage some of them to come and join us in worship.
The deadline for receipt of articles is Monday 2 September.
Iona 2014 : Rev. David Kellas, Glenelg, is in the process of arranging for a group of 15 people from Churches within our Presbytery to take part in an Open Week in the Abbey on Iona in 2014.
