After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
Youth Fellowship will meet in the Church Hall from 7.15 to 8.30 pm tonight.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship group meets in the Church Hall at 6.30 pm this coming Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Coffee Mornings : Coffee Mornings, in aid of church funds are held in the Church Hall each Thursday from 10.30 – 12.00 Please come and support this fund raising initiative.
Kirk Session : A meeting of Kirk Session will be held in the Manse at 7.30 pm on Thursday 27 June. Minutes and Agenda will be available next Sunday.
Holidays : The holiday period will soon be upon us and members of the congregation will be visiting many different parts of the country. If anyone visits a church elsewhere and finds that, like Portree Parish Church, spare copies of a magazine are available to visitors then the Magazine Committee would be extremely grateful to receive a copy. These can provide ideas for future articles in our own magazine
Any magazines obtained can be placed in the Magazine Folder in the Front Vestibule.
Sunday 23 June – Family Service : Sunday School and Youth Fellowship close for the summer holidays on this date. The morning service will be a Family Service. As well as involving contributions to the worship by the children, the service will include the annual prize-giving ceremony for our young people.
CONGREGATIONAL MEAL
Sandor, Susan and their family wish to invite all members of the congregation to join them for a Soup & Pudding Lunch in the Church Hall after morning worship on Sunday 23 June.
The food for the event will be supplied by the Fazakas family with assistance from the Ladies’ Bible Study Group (although further donations of food would be gratefully accepted).
The event will provide another opportunity for a time of fellowship together and a first opportunity for the congregation to meet Hanna and her proud parents, Szende and Ferenc.
