Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The Kirk Session and Congregational Board have decided that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
Pentecost Sunday – Communion :
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated during both services today.
Individual disposable glasses and a sealed container of wine will be set out at each pew seat.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.

These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits :
The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church.
Retiral Offering for May :
A Retiral Offering will be taken at the end of both services today

At a joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.

Sandor’s Attendance at the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland :
Sandor will be attending this year’s Assembly as a representative of the Presbytery of Lochcarron-Skye. He will be in Edinburgh until Thursday 25 May, returning to Skye late on the Thursday evening.
During his absence urgent pastoral matters should be referred to the Session Clerk, Bill Marshall, who may be contacted on 01478 650 405.
Bill will lead worship at the morning service today and the evening service will be led by Colin Reeve.
Roddy Beaton and Hugh Campbell will lead the Prayer Fellowship service on Tuesday 23 May.
New Communicant Members :
Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Pentecost Sunday 28 May.
Preparatory Service and Pentecost Sunday Communion :
Prior to the Communion Service to be held on Pentecost Sunday, 28 May, a Preparatory Service will be held in the church at 7.00 pm on Friday 26 May.

The AGM of the church will be held in the Church at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 16 May 2023 and we would encourage you to attend to support your Office Bearers and to hear reports on the various activities which have taken place during 2022.
Tea & Coffee, and the opportunity for further fellowship, will be provided at the end of the meeting.
Copies of the Annual Accounts for the church for 2022 are available in Vestibule.

Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
At the last joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
Preparatory Service, Sunrise Service and Communion Sunday :
Prior to the Communion Service to be held on Easter Sunday, 09 April, a Preparatory Service will be held in the church at 7.00 pm on Good Friday, 07 April.
All members of the congregation are invited to attend.
A short Sunrise Service will be held at the Lump at 6.25 am (British Summer Time) on Sunday 09 April. Sunrise time is 6.32 am (BST)
Again, all members of the congregation are invited to attend.
Easter Sunday – Communion :
The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated during both services today.
Individual disposable glasses and a sealed container of wine will be set out at each pew seat.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
Sunday School is closed for the Easter holiday period. Classes will resume on Sunday 23 April.
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
New Communicant Members :
Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church.
Church Magazine – Easter Edition :
Copies of the Easter edition of the magazine are now available in the Front Vestibule. Please collect a copy as you leave the church. Many thanks to those members of the congregation who submitted articles for this edition – these were very much appreciated. We hope that you will enjoy these and the other items in the magazine.
