SITUATION VACANT
We are delighted to report that we have received offers of help in filling the vacancies for the positions of Church Officer at the Evening Service and for Offering Counters. This now puts us in the position when we have sufficient volunteers to cover these duties on a rota basis.
Regrettably the most important post – that of Sunday School Assistant –
still remains unfilled. This post does not require the preparation or teaching of lessons for the children but simply involves assisting the teaching staff with the children on Sunday mornings.
We still require a person to for the period from Easter to Summer. but offers of assistance for any time of the year will be gratefully accepted.
The children in our Sunday School are the future of the church and their Christian education is a vital component of their development.
Remembering the series of presentation we have had in the church on the topics of Time and Talents, any member of the congregation who is prepared to give a commitment to carry out this important task is asked to give their name to Bill Marshall.
