Church Magazine – Summer Edition:
When you are not out basking in the wonderful summer weather on Skye, you might turn your thoughts to the annual request for contributions to the Summer edition of the Church Magazine
As usual, articles can, for example, be on a favourite hymn or passage from the Bible, your favourite poem (or one of your own) a famous or less famous person, or any topic that you think would be of interest to those reading the magazine.
Contributions can be handwritten or typed and can be placed in the red magazine folder in the Front Vestibule. If articles are typed it would be appreciated if these could be emailed directly to wwm74marl@hotmail.com
We hope to publish this edition by Sunday 23 August, so contributions should be submitted please by Sunday 09 August.
Holidays :
We are now in the holiday season and members of the congregation will be visiting many different parts of the country. If anyone visits a church elsewhere and finds that, like Portree Parish Church, spare copies of a magazine are available to visitors then I would be extremely grateful to receive a copy. These can provide ideas for future articles in our own magazine
Any magazines obtained can be placed in the Magazine Folder in the Front Vestibule.
