INTIMATIONS :
Arrangements for Worship today :
As Sandor is in Edinburgh attending the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Morning Worship today will be led by Hugh Campbell and Lachie Gillies will lead Evening Worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, and Juice will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits :
The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
New Communicant Members :
Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church.
Dates for Your Diary :
- A Preparatory Service will be held in the Church at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 19 May.
- Pentecost : The Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be celebrated at both services on Sunday 24 May. Individually wrapped pieces of bread, disposable glasses and a sealed container of wine will be distributed by the Elders.
- The Church AGM will be held in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm on Tuesday 09 June.
Summer Opening of the Church to Visitors :
Last year, following a break due to Covid, we reintroduced the Summer Opening of the Church to Visitors.
This scheme was greatly appreciated by visitors to Portree and to several locals.
We would hope to continue this programme this summer
