INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The Kirk Session and Congregational Board have decided that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
There is no Sunday School class today due to the February holiday break for schools. Sunday School will resume on Sunday 25 February
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 11.00 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Congregational Board and Kirk Session :
A Zoom meeting of the Congregational Board will take place on Thursday 29 February, commencing at 7.00 pm with a meeting of Kirk Session following thereafter.
The Meeting ID and Password, along with all relevant papers will be issued before the meetings.
Church Magazine – Easter Edition
Easter Sunday this year falls on 31 March and we would hope to produce and issue the Easter edition of the magazine on Sunday 24 March. Please let us have YOUR contributions to YOUR magazine. They can be as long or as short as you like and on any topic.
As usual, contributions can be place in the red folder on the wall of the Front Vestibule or sent to me at wwm74marl@hotmail.com
It would be wonderful if your contributions were submitted on or before Sunday 10 March.
