Covid Regulations :
While the Scottish Government has relaxed more of its Covid regulations Kirk Session has agreed that, in the meantime, and for the assurance of members of the congregation, we will continue with the existing arrangements, namely :-
- Social distancing must be maintained on entry to, and exit from, the church as well as when sitting in the pews.
- Face coverings (unless exempt) must still be worn in the church and throughout the service – including during the singing of praise items. This is still required by law.
- Please remain in your seat until one of the Elders directs you to leave.
The existing cleaning and disinfecting regimes will continue with the church fully sanitised after each service.
All these procedures are designed to minimise the risks to anyone attending worship in the church.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
At the last meeting of the Congregational Board the decision was taken that from the beginning of March the Church Hall would, once more, be opened to groups.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group will resume its meetings in the Hall at 10.30 am on Tuesday 1 March. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 6.00 pm each Tuesday evening. All are invited to attend.
Church Magazine
Easter Sunday this year falls on the 17th April and we hope to produce a magazine for issue towards the start of April.
The Christmas edition of the magazine contained the greatest ever number of contributions from members of the congregation and this really made it YOUR MAGAZINE.
It would be wonderful if that could be repeated this time round with perhaps even more contributions from the congregation.
As usual, contributions can be placed in the red folder on the wall of the Front Vestibule or sent to me at wwm74marl@hotmail.com
Closing date for articles will be Sunday 27 March.
