Intimations – Sunday 20 October 2019

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).

If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of

any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would

welcome a visit from him.

Sunday School  : The group meets every Sunday during the school term.   Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

Sunday School resumes next Sunday, 03 November

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

There will be no meeting of the  Bible Study group on Tuesday 22nd October.  Meetings resume on Tuesday 29 October.

During this recess period an open invitation is extended to anyone in the congregation who would wish to meet informally in the Red Brick Café at Jans on Tuesday 22 October from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.

The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.   All are welcome to attend.

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 17 November.

Christmas Time is Coming ! :  Sorry for the reminder, but we hope to be able to issue a Christmas edition of YOUR magazine if sufficient material is received.

Articles can be typed and either placed in the Magazine Folder in the Vestibule or, preferably, emailed to the editor at wwm74marl@hotmail.com     Handwritten articles can still be placed in the folder.

Please, please get writing !

Closing date for articles will be Sunday 24 November.

Remembrance Sunday :  On Sunday 10 November, immediately following the parade and laying of wreaths at the War Memorial, the annual service of Remembrance will be held in the church.

Colin Reeve and Calum McDiairmid will represent the church at the parade and lay the wreath on behalf of the congregation.
