Our Praise :  Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH3) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).  Tonight the evening praise will be Psalms from CH3 and Archie MacDonald will precent these.

If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School and Youth Fellowship meet every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group :  The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship will meet in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening   All are welcome to attend.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Harvest Thanksgiving Service :  This year the service will be held in the morning of Sunday 1 October.  See overleaf for further details.

Retiral Collection :  The normal bi-monthly offering will be uplifted at the end of each service next Sunday, 24 September.  See overleaf for special arrangements.

Harvest Thanksgiving :

Kirk Session has agreed that the Harvest Thanksgiving Service will take place on Sunday 1 October.  It also agreed that all donations made should be directed towards those in need in Portree and other areas of Skye.

Skye Young Carers has been identified as the organisation to receive our donations this year.

Kirk Session also agreed that the September retiring collection and any white envelopes received during September or on Sunday 1 October can be directed to Skye Young Carers.

If you wish your white envelope to go to Skye Young Carers please print CARERS on the front.  If you wish the money to go to the church please print CHURCH.

The donations will be collected at both services on Sunday 24 September and Sunday 1 October.

Cash donations will, as usual, be collected at the door at the end of each service.

It is also hoped that food items will be brought and left in the special box in the Front Vestibule.  Members of the Sunday School and Youth Fellowship will bring these food items to the Chancel area at the start of the service on 1 October.  These items will be donated to the Food Bank

Please remember that there is a box in the Front Vestibule into which donations of groceries can be made throughout the year.  These are delivered to the Food Bank on a regular basis.
