After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Our Praise :  Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH3) and tonight Archie MacDonald will precent Psalms from CH3

If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School and Youth Fellowship :  The groups meet every Sunday during the school term, initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group :  The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship :  The group meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.   All are welcome to attend.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Food Bank : Once more, members of the congregation are thanked for the wonderful response to the appeal for foodsfuffs to distribute to those in the community who are in desperate need.  It is hoped that such gracious giving will continue throughout the year.

Volunteers Needed Urgently :  Thee is an urgent need for additional support with the serving of After Morning Worship tea and coffee.  Your service would only be required once every 5 weeks.  If you can help, please give your name to Bill Marshall.

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Pentecost Sunday, 04 June.

Summer Opening of the Church to Visitors : Anyone willing to take on one or more of the slots on the rota for opening the church during the months of June to the end of August should give their name to Ishbel Beattie  (0787 611 0984)

Congregational Board & Kirk Session :  Due to unforeseen circumstances it has been found necessary to move the date of the next meeting from Thursday 8 June to Wednesday 7 June at 7.00 pm.   It is hoped that this does not cause too much inconvenience to anyone.

Retiral Offering :  A Retiral Offering will be taken at both services on today.   This collection will go towards the costs of major projects in our church buildings.

“Try Praying” :  This Presbytery led campaign will run from 29 May to      4 June and Rev Rosemary Bungard of St Columba’s Episcopal Church has agreeing to lead the campaign in Portree. Prayers will be held in the Episcopal Church each day of the week.  See banner on our church railings for more details.  Copies of a booklet are available in the Front Vestibule.  The services are open to all.

Chorus for Hymn 374

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord !

let the earth hear His voice ;

praise the Lord, praise the Lord !

let the people rejoice :

O come to the Father

through Jesus the Son

and give Him the glory ;

great things He has done !
