Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH3) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).
If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School and Youth Fellowship resume today after the February school holidays. The groups meet every Sunday during the school term, initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Church Magazine : The next edition of our magazine is due to be issued for Easter which, this year, falls on Sunday 16 April.
We need articles about your memories of Easter in your past, your thoughts on how it is celebrated today, your favourite hymns, poems, humorous stories, items on Spring etc.
New Communicant Members : Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on 27 March.
Defibrillator :
Lucky2BHere have kindly agreed to organise some emergency life support training for us which will include use of the defibrillator and recognition of a heart attack and stroke. The course will be held in our church hall on Monday 27th February from 7.30 – 9.30 pm and is open to anyone in the congregation who would like to learn more about these potentially life – saving techniques. Places are limited to 20 people so if you would like to attend please add your name and contact details to the form in the Front Vestibule.

Congregational Board & Kirk Session : A joint meeting of the Board and Kirk Session will be held in the Manse at 7.00 pm on Thursday 02 March to consider the draft accounts for 2016. A meeting of Session will follow thereafter.

Ecumenical Service :
To celebrate the World Day of Prayer a service will be held in St Columba Episcopal Church at 11.00 noon on Friday 03 March.
Rev Elizabeth Bumgard extends an invitation to all who would wish to attend.
