Minister’s Annual Leave : Sandor is taking part of his annual leave entitlement from Monday 24 March until Monday 30 March.

Urgent pastoral matters during this period will be dealt with by Rev Geoff McKee.   In such cases please contact the Session Clerk or the Rev McKee on 01470 521457.

Both services today will be conducted by the Rev. John Murray.

We wish Sandor and Susan a peaceful and enjoyable holiday and pray that Sandor returns from this break strengthened to continue his ministry here in Portree.

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School & Youth Fellowship close today for the Easter Holiday period.   They will next meet on Sunday 27 April.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.   All are welcome to attend.   The next two meetings will be held at Fiona Stephenson’s house at the pier.

Church Coffee Mornings :  It is planned to restart these fund raising events in the second half of April.  Last year they raised over £600 for church funds.  Anyone who would be willing to be involved or who would wish further information should see Liz MacDonald.

New Communicant Members :  Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant  member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion at the Easter Service on Sunday 20 April.

Retiral Offering :  A Retiral Offering will be taken at both services today.   This collection will go towards the costs of major projects in our church buildings.

Church Magazine :  Preparations for the Easter edition of the Church magazine are underway.    A folder has been placed in the Front Vestibule of the church and anyone who has an item (poem, article, prayer, etc.) that they wish to be considered for inclusion in the Easter or other editions of the magazine is asked to place it in the folder.

The closing date for articles is 25 April but earlier receipt would be appreciated.

Food Bank :  Food items from the undernoted list may be deposited in the receptacle in the Front Vestibule.  These will be passed on to Helping Hands who will distribute them to those in need in Portree and the local area.

Items particularly requested are  pasta, pasta sauces, jam, rice, smoked sausage, noodles, soup, beans, sweetcorn, breakfast cereals, tins of ravioli, powdered milk, tins of spaghetti bolognese.
