Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School and Youth Fellowship close today for the Christmas holiday period.  They will resume on Sunday 12 January 2014.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR SERVICES 2013 :

The pattern of services over this period will be as follows –

22rd December     :  Normal Worship 11.00 am and 6.00 pm

24th December     :  Watchnight Service of Readings and Carols  11.15 pm

29th  December    :  Normal Worship 11.00 am and 6.00 pm

31st  December    :  New Year’s Eve Service  (time to be confirmed)

1st  January ‘14   :  New Year’s Day Service  12.00 noon

At the beginning of the year, Kirk Session discussed the arrangements for services over the Christmas and New Year period.  It was felt that the small numbers attending the Christmas day service reflected the facts that many considered Christmas day to be a family day and that as well as spending time with friends and family, many members of the congregation were heavily involved in the preparation of special meals.  Kirk Session had therefore agreed that unless Christmas Day fell on a Sunday there would be no Christmas Day service.  If it fell on a Sunday there would be the normal 11.00 am service but no evening service
