INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
Election of Rebeccah Bartocho :
Following Beckie’s preaching last Sunday as Sole Nominee and her being elected by the joint congregations of Portree and Kilmuir & Staffin, Members and Adherents were invited to sign the Call paper. Anyone who was not present last Sunday is invited to add their signature to the paper which is in the Front Vestibule.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
Sunday School is now closed for the Easter holiday break. Classes resume on Sunday 27 April.
The group meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group is closed for the Easter holiday period. Meetings will resume on Tuesday 22 April.
The Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday and will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits :
The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Church Magazine – Easter Edition
Copies of the latest edition of the magazine are now available in the Front Vestibule.
Please pick up your copy, and those for any of your friends, as you leave the church.

Church Hall Cleaning Rota :
A new rota will be published in the near future and anyone who would be willing to give a little of their time to carry out cleaning in the Hall should give their name to Heather Quaye.
New Communicant Members :
Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Easter Sunday 20 April.
Easter Celebrations :
The programme of events for the church during the Easter period are as follows.
Friday 18 April at 7.00 pm : Preparatory Service in the Church
Sunday 20 April at 5.50 am : Sunrise Service at the Lump
Sunday 20 April at 11.00 am : Morning Worship including the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper
Sunday 20 April at 12.00 noon : Tea, Coffee, Juice and Hot Cross Buns in the Church
Sunday 20 April at 3.00 pm : Wedding of Laura-Catherine MacLean and Vern Putter to which members of the congregation are welcome to attend.
Sunday 20 April at 6.00 pm : Evening Worship including the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper
Those members of the congregation wishing to take Communion next Sunday are asked to bring their own piece of bread .
Individual disposable glasses and a sealed container of wine will be distributed by the Elders
