Blythswood Shoebox Appeal :
It’s wonderful to see the collection of filled shoeboxes for the Blythswood Christmas appeal growing at the front of the church. Thank you to all who have contributed so far, and we know some of us are still working on gathering items to fill a box. You may find some essential items which have been kindly donated on the pew on the way out of church so do take anything that will help to complete your box.
The date for final collection from Skye is Saturday 8 November so boxes can be brought to the church on any of the next 3 Sundays (19 and 26 October and 2 November). Any boxes after that can still be dropped off at the Blythswood shop at the pier, before Saturday 8 November.
We counted 30 filled boxes last Sunday. Can we make it to 50??
