INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
At the last joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
Meetings will resume in the Church Hall at 10.30 am next Tuesday, 10 January.
The group will be delighted to welcome any ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are now closed for the agreed Winter break with services resuming on Tuesday 8 March 2023
FreeWill Offering Envelopes for 2023 :
Anyone wishing to join the scheme and receive envelopes for their weekly offerings should see Bill.
Sunday School :
Classes will resume next Sunday, 15 January 2023 with the young people meeting initially in the Church before moving up to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Congregational Board and Kirk Session : A Zoom meeting of the Congregational Board will take place on Thursday 26 January, commencing at 7.00 pm with a meeting of Kirk Session following thereafter.
The Meeting ID and Password, along with all relevant papers will be issued before the meetings.
Watchnight Service Retiral Collection : The collection taken at the above service, along with further donations given on Sunday 25 December raised a wonderful total of £400 which was forwarded to Am Fasgadh.
After Morning Worship Fellowship : The serving of tea and coffee, along with the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with other members of the congregation, will recommence next Sunday 15 January.
