Church and Church Hall Cleaning I would like to thank everyone on the Church and Hall cleaning rotas for all their hard work this year in keeping both buildings clean and tidy. It is one of those jobs which are quietly and efficiently carried out without any fuss by volunteers from the congregation but which, if left undone, would be immediately noticeable to everyone using the Church and Hall. Not only do you keep the premises spick and span but you are able to see better than most when things are not quite right so making the premises a safer and nicer place to use. And you make my job a whole lot easier! Thank you for your continued support. I’ll have next year’s rotas out by mid-December, so please look out for them in the Church Vestibule if I’ve not managed to give them to you personally. There are a couple of gaps this year especially for the hall so if any member of the congregation feels that they can help then just get in touch with myself. It only takes up 3 or 4 hours a year at a time of your choosing but makes such a difference. So please consider if you could help in this important task. Finally can I ask all members of the congregation to have a look in their cupboards to see if they have any keys for the Church or Hall that they no longer need. Every year we somehow manage to lose a couple and it can be difficult for the key cutter to make new keys when it’s a copy of a copy .
