While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
Sunday School is closed for the Summer holiday period.
Classes will resume on Sunday 25 August.
We would dearly love to see more children attending Sunday School. If you know of anyone who might be interested in attending, please encourage them to come along. Not only will they be given the sound basis of a Christian education, but they will also have fun.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group has closed for the Summer holiday period.
Group meetings will recommence on Tuesday 20 August.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
Pastoral Visits :
The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Summertime ! : If you cannot be guaranteed good weather you can be certain that there will be a request for contributions to the Summer edition of the Church Magazine.
As usual, articles can, for example, be on a favourite hymn or passage from the Bible, your favourite poem (or one of your own) a famous or less famous person, or any topic that you think would be of interest to those reading the magazine.
Contributions can be handwritten or typed and can be placed in the red magazine folder in the Front Vestibule. If articles are typed it would be appreciated if these could be emailed directly to wwm74marl@hotmail.com
The closing date for articles for the magazine is TODAY.
New Communicant Members :
Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.
Soup & Pudding Lunch – Sunday 08 September :
Mark the date in your diary! The Kirk Session has designated this date as our Compassion Sunday, and more information will be provided as the date nears.
