INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
The Kirk Session and Congregational Board have decided that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Sunday School :
Sunday School closes today for the Christmas and New Year holiday period.
Classes will resume on Sunday 14 January 2024.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
The final group meeting of the year will take place next Tuesday, 19 December with meetings resuming on Tuesday 9 January 2024.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.
All are invited to attend.
The final Tuesday Evening service of the year will take place next Tuesday, 19 December with services resuming on Tuesday 5 March 2024, following the agreed winter break.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
FreeWill Offering Envelopes for 2024 :
Individual boxes of these envelopes are available for collection by those who contribute via the FWO scheme.
Anyone wishing to join the scheme and receive envelopes for their weekly offerings should see Bill.
Congregational Soup & Mince Pie Lunch :
This long-awaited event will be held in the Church Hall immediately after morning worship today !
It is hoped that as many as possible of the congregation can attend this event which we were unable to organise during the “Covid Years”.
We expect a special guest to make an appearance !

10.00 am A Gaelic Christmas Service for Bun-Sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Righ will take place in the church with Rev John Urquhart leading the worship. All are invited to attend.
