INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
At the last joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
After Morning Worship Fellowship :
After our Morning Worship today, Tea , Coffee, Juice, and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Sunday School :
Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility is available.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Church Hall – Cleaning Rota :
With the Hall now being used on a regular basis by community groups we are looking for volunteers willing to join the cleaning rota.
If you would wish to be involved in the Hall cleaning, please give your name to Heather Quaye.
As the Church will continue to be sanitised by “fogging”, the existing cleaning arrangements for that building will continue.
Healing for Hurting Heart Course :
Saturdays 4th and 11th March 9.30am-4.00pm in the Free Church, Kyle
Join us for this Bible based course delivered over two sessions by Sarah Wright from Gairloch Church of Scotland.
In our communities many people have experienced bereavement, conflict, abuse, accidents, crime, relationship breakdown, illness and other adverse experiences. Many of them have been wounded inside by these things. In addition to this the pandemic has left unprecedented numbers of young and old folk alike feeling isolated, struggling and alone.
This course will enable you to better help yourself or others to come through these difficult times. Everyone is welcome to join.

Church Magazine – Easter Edition :
Easter Sunday this year falls on 09 April and we would hope to produce and issue this edition on Sunday 02 April
You surpassed yourselves at Christmas with the number of items submitted by members of the congregation and we hope that this will be repeated for this edition.
Please let us have YOUR contributions. They can be as long or as short as you like and on any topic.
As usual, contributions can be place in the red folder on the wall of the Front Vestibule or sent to me at wwm74marl@hotmail.com
It would be wonderful if your contributions were submitted before Sunday 19 March.
