INTIMATIONS
Covid :
While Covid is still present in the community, the majority of our congregation are now fully vaccinated against the virus.
At the last joint meeting of the Kirk Session and Congregational Board it was felt that we could now relax our previous strong recommendation that face coverings should be worn in the church.
The wearing of these face coverings will now be a matter of personal choice.
The cleaning and disinfecting regime in the church will continue, but at a reduced frequency. It will still be sanitised before each Sunday worship.
Sunday Evening Services :
Evening services are held in the church each Sunday and commence at 6.00 pm.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome any new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
The last pre-Christmas meeting of the group will be on Tuesday 13 December and meetings will resume on Tuesday 10 January 2023
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are now closed.
Those who attend these services agreed that rather than having a two-month Summer break, there will be a Winter break with services resuming on Tuesday 8 March 2023
FreeWill Offering Envelopes for 2023 :
Anyone wishing to join the scheme and receive envelopes for their weekly offerings should see Bill.
Sunday School :
Those attending Sunday School stay in the church for the first part of the service before moving up to the Church Hall.
If required, a crèche facility will be available.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Church Magazine – Christmas Edition :
Copies of the Christmas edition of the magazine are now available in the Front Vestibule. Please collect a copy as you leave the church.
May thanks to all members of the congregation who submitted articles for this edition. It was very much appreciated and we are sure that you will enjoy these and the other items in the magazine.
After Morning Worship Fellowship : It has been decided that the serving of teas and coffees after the morning service will restart in January.
If you would like to join the rota of people involved in the serving of the drinks, please give your name to Ishbel Beattie.
