Covid Regulations :
We would remind you of the necessary procedures we must all follow during this difficult time.
- Social distancing must be maintained on entry to, and exit from the church as well as when sitting in the pews.
- Face coverings (unless exempt) must still be worn in the church and throughout the service – including during the singing of praise items.
- Please remain in your seat until one of the Elders directs you to leave.
The existing cleaning and disinfecting regimes will continue with the church fully sanitised after each service.
All these procedures are designed to minimise the risks to anyone attending worship in the church.
Ladies’ Bible Study Group :
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Hall at 10.30 am each Tuesday. The group will be delighted to welcome and new ladies who would want to join them in fellowship and friendship.
Bible Study & Prayer Fellowship Services :
These services are held in the Church at 6.00 pm each Tuesday evening. All are invited to attend.
Church Magazine
The Christmas edition of the magazine contained the greatest ever number of contributions from members of the congregation and this really made it YOUR MAGAZINE.
It would be wonderful if that could be repeated this time round with perhaps even more contributions from the congregation.
As usual, contributions can be place in the red folder on the wall of the Front Vestibule or sent to me at wwm74marl@hotmail.com
Closing date for articles will be NEXT SUNDAY 27 MARCH.
Sunday Evening Services :
We are delighted to announce that at the meeting of Kirk Session on Thursday 10 March the decision was taken to restart Sunday Evening Services from Sunday 3 April. Services will be held in the church and commence at 6.00 pm.
Door Duty and Readers :
With the resumption of Evening Services we intend to return to the previous pattern of members of the congregation joining the Elders on the Door Duty and Readers lists.
If you previously assisted with either or both of these important aspects of church life we would ask that you contact Donna McEwan on 01478 612266 to confirm if you wish to be included in the new rota.
We would also be delighted if more members of the congregation joined either or both of these lists. If you can help in this way, please contact Donna.
Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal :
At the Congregational Board meeting on Thursday 10 March it was agreed that the church would collect donations for the above appeal organised by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). Any donations received on or before Sunday 3 April will be forwarded to that organisation to provide support for the refugees from the conflict. If you Google “Disasters Emergency Committee” or “DEC” you will find details of what your donations could provide.
It was also agreed that the proceeds of the March Retiral Collection should go to this cause.
If you would prefer your retiral offering to go to the church please print CHURCH on your white envelope
