After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of
fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Our Praise : This morning our praise items are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).
If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School : The group meets every Sunday during the school term. Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Manse each Tuesday evening at 7.00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
FreeWill Offering Envelopes 2020 : Anyone wishing to join the scheme and receive envelopes for their weekly offerings should see Bill.
Volunteers : For next year we would be delighted to have additional volunteers for :-
- Cleaning duties in the church and the hall ( Heather Quaye)
- Door duty and/or readers (Donna McEwan)
- After Morning Worship Tea rota (Ishbel Beattie)
If you can help with any of these please give your name to the named person responsible.
Church Magazine : The Christmas edition of the magazine is now ready and distributors may collect their folders from the Beadle’s Pew.
The Minister and Kirk Session would like to thank all the distributors of the magazine for their important work in spreading news of the church to those who cannot attend services.
Gaelic Nativity Play : This will be held in Kilmuir Church at 3.00 pm on Saturday 22 December. An open invitation is extended to all. Tea and biscuits will be served.
Sunday 15 December : This will be the last Sunday this year for the Sunday School and consequently morning worship will take the form of a Family Carol Service.
Members of the Crèche and Sunday School will be involved in the service After the service the Crèche and Sunday School will be providing a Soup and Mince Pie Lunch in the Church Hall. It is hoped that members of the congregation will support our younger members in these activities. A letter has already been sent to a special guest inviting him to make an appearance and he has written back saying he hopes to attend.
