Intimations – Sunday 3 November 2019
After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).
If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School : The group meets every Sunday during the school term. Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
The Ladies’ BibleStudy Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Manse each Tuesday evening at 7.00 pm. All are welcome to attend.

any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would
welcome a visit from him.
FreeWill Offering Envelopes 2020 : Anyone wishing to join the scheme and receive envelopes for their weekly offerings should see Bill.
New Communicant Members : Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 17 November.
Remembrance Sunday 10 November – Morning Worship : As in previous years, Portree Parish Church will host the Remembrance Day Service. Following the period of silence in the Square, members of the uniformed organisations will join us in the Church for morning worship.
While the seating arrangements will be slightly different from a normal Sunday it is hoped that members of our congregation will not be put
off from attending on that day.
Sarah Reeve and Calum McDiairmid will represent the church at the parade and lay the wreath on behalf of the congregation.
November Communion Services : Communion will be celebrated at both services on Sunday 17 November.
A Preparatory Service will be held in the church at 6.00 pm Friday 15 November.
