Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Crèche: There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.
Sunday School and Youth Fellowship meet every Sunday during the school term. They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening All are welcome to attend.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
New Communicant Members : Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion.
Adventures in Prayer : The Church of Scotland will be organising one day retreats aimed at offering an opportunity to refocus and deepen your devotional life. Full details of dates and registration arrangements can be found on the poster in the Front Vestibule.
Church Magazine : At the meeting held recently it was agreed that only two magazines would be produced this year – the first to be issued in late April / early May and the second in late November.
Patrick & Jenni have agreed that, although now living in England, they will produce the first magazine for 2015 with the new group taking over for the second magazine.
The first magazine will contain our Minister’s letter and the Annual Reports from Office Bearers (Session Clerk, Treasurer, Roll Keeper etc.) and, hopefully, other articles provided by you. Articles can be left in the Magazine Folder in the Front Vestibule or emailed directly to Patrick & Jenni at jennipatrick@btinternet.com The closing date for articles for this magazine is Sunday 12 April but earlier receipt would be appreciated.
The new Magazine group hope that starting with the Christmas edition each magazine will contain a short report on the activities of each church organisation.
