Flowers - Mother's Day

After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP). If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School  : The group meets every Sunday during the school term.   Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

Due to the school In-Service day on Monday 3 June there will be no Sunday School on Sunday 2 June.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening.   All are welcome to attend.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

Congregational Board & Kirk Session :

A joint meeting of the Board and Kirk Session will be held in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm on Thursday 30 May with a meeting of Session following thereafter.

Minutes and Agenda for the Kirk Session meeting are available in the Vestibule

Date for the Diary  -  Reminder :  At 7.30 pm on the evening of Tuesday 28 May, in the church, a quintet from Alabama, USA will present a musical concert.

The ensemble is called Adoration and comprises 2 Sopranos, 1 Alto,

1 Tenor and 1 Bass.

The group sings with accompaniment tracks and also sings A Cappella.

Some of their songs are big, celebration songs, some are wonderful praise and worship songs, some are soft prayerful songs.  All the songs honour the Lord.

Retiral OfferingThe Retiral Offering for May will be taken at both services today.  .   This collection will go towards the costs of the replacement of all windows in the Church Hall.

This work has now been completed at a total cost of £11,736.00.

To date this year, donations totalling £1,580 have been made towards this cost.  It is hoped that the usual generosity of the congregation will continue  to replenish our now depleted reserves after paying for this work to be done.

Apologies for not intimating this collection in the Intimation Sheet last week.  Donations can still be made next Sunday or at any other time.

New Communicant Members :   Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on 09 June.
