After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today     Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church.  Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.

Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP). If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.

Crèche:    There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

Sunday School  : Sunday School is closed for the Summer holiday period.

The new session for the group will commence on Sunday 25 August.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The Ladies’ Bible Study class is closed for the Summer recess.

The new session for the group will commence on Tuesday 27 August.

During the recess period an open invitation is extended to all ladies who would wish to meet informally in the Red Brick Café at Jans on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.

The Prayer Fellowship : The Prayer Fellowship is closed for the  Summer recess.

The new session for the group will commence on Tuesday 27 August.

Pastoral Visits :  The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.

New Communicant Members :   Anyone who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone.   We would dearly love to see more people take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on 04 August.

Church Magazine :

Articles for the Summer edition are now sought.  They could be typed and either placed in the Magazine Folder in the Vestibule or, preferably, emailed to the editor at wwm74marl@hotmail.com     Handwritten articles can still be placed in the folder.

Closing date for articles will be Sunday 04 August.

Holidays : The holiday period is now upon us and members of the congregation will be visiting many different parts of the country.   If anyone visits a church elsewhere and finds that, like Portree Parish Church, spare copies of a magazine are available to visitors then the magazine editors would be extremely grateful to receive a copy.   These can provide ideas for future articles in our own magazine

Any magazines obtained can be placed in the Magazine Folder in the Front Vestibule.

SECURITYThose people responsible for closing the church at the end of a service or a period of opening the church to visitors are asked to ensure that all doors are locked and that the sound system has been switched off.
