WELCOME : We are delighted to have you worshipping with us today. Please sit wherever you wish. Large print hymn books are available at
the church door - please ask if you require one. An Induction Loop system is also in use - you should adjust your hearing aid to the appropriate ‘T’ setting. A Visitors’ Book is in the vestibule if you would wish to sign it. The Minister or an Elder will be happy to pray for anyone after the service.
After Morning Worship Fellowship : After Morning Worship today Tea , Coffee, Juice and biscuits will be served in the Church. Please stay behind for as long or short a time as you can manage and enjoy a time of fellowship with other members of the congregation and with visitors to our church.
Our Praise : Normally at our morning services the items of Praise are taken from Church Hymnary Third Edition (CH) and those at evening services are taken from Mission Praise (MP).
If you feel more comfortable sitting during the items of praise, please feel free to do so.
Pastoral Visits : The Minister asks that he would be kept informed of any member of the congregation who is ill, in hospital or would welcome a visit from him.
Sunday School : Sunday School meets initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall for its own activities
The Ladies’ Bible Study Group : The group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon. All ladies welcome.
The Prayer Fellowship : The group meets in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening. All are welcome to attend.
Congregational Board & Kirk Session :
A joint meeting of the Board and Kirk Session will be held in the Church Hall at 7.00 pm on Thursday 05 September with a meeting of Session following thereafter.
Minutes, and Agenda for the Kirk Session meeting are be available in the Front Vestibule.
Harvest Thanksgiving: The Harvest Thanksgiving Service this year will be held on Sunday 29 September.
Further details will follow next week.
Dates for Your Diaries : The Remembrance Service this year will be held on Sunday 10 November with the November Communion taking place at both services on Sunday 17 November.
New Communicant Members : Any Adherent who would wish to become a full communicant member of the church should speak to the Minister at the end of the service or contact him by telephone. We would dearly love to see more Adherents take up full communicant membership of the church and take Communion on Sunday 17 November.
