Sunday School meets every Sunday during the school term.   They meet initially in the Church before moving to the Church Hall.

Crèche:  There is a crèche in the Church Hall behind the Church if anyone wishes to leave their children there during the morning service.

The Ladies’ Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall on Tuesdays from 10.30 am to 12.00 noon.   All ladies welcome.

The Prayer Fellowship meets in the Manse at 7.00 pm each Tuesday evening   All are welcome to attend.

Church Magazine : The Christmas edition of our Church Magazine is now ready for distribution. Distributers may collect their folders from the Front Vestibule.

The Magazine Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the Distributers for their work during the year.

We are greatly indebted to Patrick & Jenni Jones for the production of this edition.

Soup and Mince Pie Lunch : After the service this morning the Sunday School and Youth Fellowship will be providing a Soup and Mince Pie Lunch in the Church Hall.

It is hoped that members of the congregation will support our younger members in these activities.

A letter has already been sent to a special guest inviting him to make an appearance and he has written back saying he hopes to attend.

Ecumenical Service : An ecumenical Christmas Service will be held in the Episcopal Church at 2.30 pm on Sunday 21 December.

A warm welcome will be extended to anyone wishing to attend this service.

CHRISTMAS / NEW YEAR SERVICES 2014 :

The pattern of services over this period will be as follows –

21st December    :  Normal Worship 11.00 am and 6.00 pm

24th December   : Watchnight Service of Readings and Carols 11.15 pm

28th December    :  Normal Worship 11.00 am and 6.00 pm

31st December : New Year’s Eve Service at 11.00 pm

1st January ‘15 : New Year’s Day Service 12.00 noon

Last year the Kirk Session discussed the arrangements for services over the Christmas and New Year period. It was felt that the small numbers attending the Christmas day service reflected the facts that many considered Christmas day to be a family day and that as well as spending time with friends and family, many members of the congregation were heavily involved in the preparation of special meals. Kirk Session had therefore agreed that unless Christmas Day fell on a Sunday there would be no Christmas Day service. If it fell on a Sunday there would be the normal 11.00 am service but no evening service.
